With a its bright whistle and camouflage colouring, the Pipiwharauroa is more often heard than seen. A summer migrant, found throughout the country, and holding the distinction of Aotearoa’s only iridescent green bird, they are prolific contributors to the songbird populations in forest, bush, farmland and urban areas.

This stunningly crafted cast glass Pipiwharauroa/Shining Cuckoo is created by the incredible glass studio, Luke Jacomb Studio. It has a screw in the back so it can easily be screwed directly into your wall. Looks beautiful alone or as part of a collection.
